DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin Bay Area artist and educator Diana Reichardt for a fun workshop where you will learn to mix watercolors to create a beautiful\, Tiffany-inspired stained-glass painting.\nDiana Reichardt is a Bay Area watercolor artist and educator known for her expressive use of color and water-based media. In 2018\, she joined the Peninsula Museum of Art as an art educator. \nDiana’s work ranges from detailed\, representational paintings to more abstract explorations of color and movement\, reflecting what she describes as “serious play.” Her paintings are held in private collections\, and she was recognized as a Bay Area Emerging Artist and featured in regional exhibitions early in her career. \nTake a look at Diana’s Tiffany-inspired pieces\, or visit her website\, dianareichardt.blog to see more. \n \n  \nCLASS\nIn this beginner-friendly 2-hour workshop\, you’ll learn foundational watercolor techniques: \n\nColor mixing and blending\nUnderstanding watercolor transparency and layering\nBrush control and paint application techniques\nCreating smooth washes and gradients\nAdding depth\, dimension\, and highlights\nLearning how different amounts of water affect the paint\n\nDiana will guide you step-by-step.
