We’re exploring what’s next! Know of a restaurant space, pop-up opportunity, or something that might be a good fit? DM us.

We appreciate all the people that have reached with suggestions and kind words. Thank you so much!

In the meantime, we still need a place to park the coffee truck, even temporarily. I’d rather not put her in a storage facility 😭

Our @caffe.truck needs a new home and I’m reaching Our @caffe.truck needs a new home and I’m reaching out for any ideas!

While we look for a new location, your favorite coffee truck needs somewhere to go. She’s too pretty to go into storage!

We can’t drive it to farmers markets because it can’t be registered in California. If you know of a shop or building that would like host our coffee truck, please DM me. This would be so cute in a book store or the courtyard of a building.

The caffe truck brings in so many people and has 300,000 views on Google Maps!

For potential buyers, we’re not sure if we are selling yet but you can DM me for more info

I just want to say thank you for all the kind mess I just want to say thank you for all the kind messages. We are sad but we are ok. We’re looking into some options from this amazing community.

Dear friends & neighbors, It is with a very heavy Dear friends & neighbors,

It is with a very heavy heart that I share that Colander Kitchens is now closed.

Sunday was our busiest day yet! Selling out of everything before 1:15 pm. It was a fabulous last day, only we didn’t know at the time.

Our time in this space has come to an unexpected end. It happened quickly and I’m sorry we did not get the chance to say goodbye. While this isn’t the ending we hoped for, I’m incredibly proud of what we built. and even more grateful for the community that welcomed us.

We wanted Colander to be more than a restaurant. We wanted it to be a place where people could enjoy great food, stay for a conversation, make new friends. And thanks to all of you, it became exactly that.

Some of my favorite memories are of the regulars who came in week after week, the guests who became friends, and the people who brought their families and friends back. You made this place special.

Thank you for every meal, conversation, laugh, kind word, and visit. We will truly miss seeing you walk through our doors. If you’d like to reach out, we would love to hear from you.

Even though we’re currently closed, we’d be so grateful if you left us a review. Your words help people understand what we created and may help us as we look for our next home.

I don’t know exactly what comes next but maybe this isn’t the end. If you know of a restaurant space, popup or an opportunity that might be a good fit for us, please send a DM.

Thank you,
Ty & Jeanne
